Soccer City
Code of Conduct & Facility Etiquette
At Soccer City, we are committed to maintaining a welcoming, respectful, and safe environment for all members, guests, and visitors. Everyone who enters our facility — whether you are a member, a visitor, or a guest of a member — is expected to uphold our Code of Conduct and contribute to the positive culture we work hard to build every day.
Our Principles
Our Code of Conduct Principles
At Soccer City, our Code of Conduct is grounded in four core principles that guide how we expect everyone to show up — on and off the field.
Play Every Day
We believe in the joy of the game and the power of consistent, active participation. Come ready to play, compete, and have fun.
Share the Field
Our facility is a shared space for players of all ages, backgrounds, and skill levels. Be considerate, take turns, and make room for everyone.
Show Sportsmanship
How you carry yourself matters as much as how you play. We expect all members, visitors, and guests to demonstrate respect, humility, and grace — win or lose.
Respect Soccer City
Treat our facility, our staff, and your fellow players with care. Soccer City is your home to play, and we all share the responsibility of keeping it a great place to be.
The Rules
Code of Conduct Rules
The following rules apply to all members, visitors, and guests at all times while on Soccer City premises.
- 1
No food, seeds, gum, glass, or spitting on the turf.
Help us keep the fields clean and safe for everyone.
- 2
Derogatory, profane, and/or aggressive language or behavior is not welcome.
Soccer City is an inclusive space — everyone deserves to feel safe and respected.
- 3
No smoking, drinking, or use of alcoholic substances.
These are not permitted anywhere on the premises.
- 4
No slide tackling during pick-up play.
This rule protects all players from injury during informal games.

Only service animals are permitted.
We love animals, but to ensure the safety and comfort of all guests, only licensed service animals are allowed.
- 6
No vehicles on the turf.
This protects the playing surface for all users.
- 7
Be courteous when taking photos or video.
Soccer City is a photo-friendly place — just be mindful and respectful of other guests in your shots.
- 8
Place all trash in trash cans.
Leave no trace! Help us maintain a clean facility for the next player.
- 9
This facility is under 24-hour surveillance.
Lockers are available in restrooms for valuables. Soccer City is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
Enforcement
Consequences of Code of Conduct Violations
Violations of the Soccer City Code of Conduct may result in one or more of the following consequences, depending on the nature and severity of the incident.
Account Suspension
Your Soccer City account may be temporarily suspended, restricting your ability to book fields, register for programs, or access member services during the suspension period.
Temporary or Permanent Ban
Depending on the severity or frequency of the violation, you may be issued a temporary or permanent ban from accessing Soccer City facilities. This applies to members and non-members alike. Banned individuals are not permitted on the premises for the duration of their ban.
Return to Play Plan
In certain cases, members may be required to complete a Return to Play Plan before resuming access to Soccer City. See below for details.
Accountability & Education
What is a Return to Play Plan?
A Return to Play Plan is a structured process designed to support members in returning to Soccer City in a positive and constructive way. It reflects our belief that accountability and education — not just punishment — are key to maintaining a great community.
The process includes:
- An in-person meeting with Soccer City management to discuss the incident and review the principles of our Code of Conduct.
- A conversation about your role in upholding the values of our community and what is expected going forward.
- A commitment to accountability — members are asked to acknowledge their actions, understand the impact on others, and agree to the standards required for continued access.
Completion of a Return to Play Plan does not guarantee reinstatement of access. Soccer City reserves the right to determine eligibility on a case-by-case basis.
Soccer City reserves the right to enforce consequences at its discretion based on the circumstances of each situation. For questions about our Code of Conduct or enforcement process, please contact our front desk or management team.
